The Geo-Inquiry process is an exciting way to teach geography. It engages students in issues that are meaningful to them, and students learn many more skills along the way, such as collaboration, leadership, research, and presentation skills - all significant to helping our students succeed in the 21st century.

This section contains examples of Geo-Inquiry projects completed by Salt Lake City School District students. These Geo-Inquiry projects are being shared as examples of  how  it can look  to bring Geo-Inquiry to your students.

The modules each include an overview that describes what the teachers did for each step of the Geo-Inquiry process. Since this was the first time these teachers did a Geo-Inquiry project with their students, the overview also includes some tips for what they would do next time and some insights they gained along the way.

Each Geo-Inquiry project was approached a little differently, but each followed the steps of Geo-Inquiry and resulted in students making a call to action about an issue important to them.
